Town of Ledgeview Residents Desire Bicycle and Pedestrian Friendly Community

A recent survey of Town of Ledgeview residents showed their number one wish for the community was to be more bicycle and pedestrian friendly. This is also a priority for town officials and staff.

To help address this community need, the Town of Ledgeview has contracted with WE BIKE, etc., a Green Bay consulting firm to complete two bicycle and pedestrian projects.

The Bicycle Loops project will create “Ledgeview Loops” which are on- and off-road, signed, and measured recreational routes designed to serve residents and visitors wishing to enjoy Ledgeview by bicycle. Loops will vary in length and difficulty. The town plans to have Loops signed and mapped by Spring/Summer 2018.

The town is soliciting public input into the “Ledgeview Loops” through an online survey available at  LedgeviewSurvey.com.  Whether you regularly ride to a friend’s house, take family rides to the park, train on the ledge, or do not ride at all, your opinions are welcome.

Work on a Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan will begin in 2018. This document will help guide future development to allow residents and visitors to more easily walk and bicycle in the community. Both projects will help the town achieve their desire to become more bicycle and pedestrian friendly.
