Welcome Friends to 2023! Don’t forget that if you plan to use the Fox River Trail in the new year you’ll need a 2023 Trail Pass.
While The Fox River Trail is free to enjoy for walking, Wisconsin State Recreational Trail passes are required for those 16 and over who are using wheels on the trail (bicycle, rollerblades or skateboards). Daily passes are available for $5, annual passes are $25. If you purchase a pass from a Brown County Parks vendor, 70% of the fee stays with Brown County Parks. The other 30% goes to WisDNR for trail projects state-wide.
Trail Passes are good from January 1 – December 31 in the year they are purchased.
Join the City of Green Bay Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department for the 7th annual Frenzy on the Fox on Friday, January 13, 2023.
This event was created in celebration of the Fox River Trail being plowed for winter recreation. We will be hosting this event in partnership with Brown County, Village of Allouez, Wello, Friends of the Fox River Trail, and Downtown Green Bay, Inc. This exciting active and social opportunity will provide you a fun experience, even in the cold winter months. The Frenzy on the Fox will start and finish in the Adams Street Parking Lot.
For every registration received on January 6 or 7 (Friday / Saturday), $5 will be given to the Friends of the Fox River Trail Capital Fundraising campaign.
The event will start at 6:00 p.m. Check-in and registration begins at 5:30 p.m. inside the former Koko Sushi Restaurant. Early Bird Registration will guarantee a Frenzy on the Fox stocking cap. All participants are invited to a post-race after-party including music, food, and drinks! Stay tuned for all the latest, and use the hashtag #Frenzy23 to share your posts and photos!
