Brown County Bicycle Survey

Brown County Planning is collecting public input to better understand residents’ experiences walking and biking, identify safety concerns, and identify opportunities for future improvements. Community input will help guide priorities and recommendations within the updated plan.

The key is suggestions on how to “CONNECT” the metro trails and parks for biking and pedestrians to use for recreation, tourism, commuters and families.

You can share your opinions through an Interactive Map, which allows you to identify location specific issues or opportunities for improvement. You can also give feedback by filling out the Online Survey, answering a variety of questions about how you walk and bike in Brown County.

Friends for the Fox River Trail (FFRT) is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to helping the Brown County Parks Department with the maintenance and upkeep of the Fox River State Recreational Trail in Brown County. Over the past 16 years, the FFRT have helped to raise money to pave additional mileage, to build bathrooms, picnic areas and rest stops. Upcoming projects include working with the Village of Allouez on installing a walking trail and picnic area next to the river in Sunset Park. Besides fundraising, the FFRT hosts work days to help remove invasive species and clean up the areas around the trail.
