The Friends of the Fox River Trail (Friends FRT) is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to helping the Brown County Parks Department with the maintenance and upkeep of the Fox River State Recreational Trail in Brown County, Wisconsin.
Over the past 16 years, the Friends FRT have helped raise money to pave additional mileage, build bathrooms, picnic areas and rest stops. Upcoming projects include working with the Village of Allouez on installing a walking trail and picnic area next to the Fox River in Sunset Park. Besides fundraising, the Friends FRT hosts work days to help remove invasive species and clean up the areas around the trail.
Check out our Contact Us page to join our email list and receive our monthly e-newsletter. You can also send us a message for information on our projects and how to send us a donation. 100% of the money we receive goes into projects.
Our quarterly gatherings are at Gallagher’s Pizza on Webster Ave in Allouez, Wi the 4th Thursday of January, April, July and October at 7 pm. We meet friends and conduct business at the meetings. Some say we have as much laughter as business, but that is OK with us.
