GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past 11 years, this idea has grown into a year-round global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
Friends of the Fox River Trail (FFRT) recently received a GivingTuesday dollar for dollar matching grant of up to $25,000.
We invite you to participate in GivingTuesday, November 28, 2023, by making a donation to our upgrade campaign. Our goal is to fund the resurfacing the existing pavement, add a parking lot and expanding pavement to Greenleaf. Contributing to the FFRT upgrade campaign now or on GivingTuesday is an opportunity to make a real difference.
Donate between now and Tuesday, November 28, 2023 to double your impact!
With over 3 million visits, the Fox River Trail has become a designation “linear park” in Wisconsin. The new trailhead at Midway Road has already been graded for parking next year. There have been culvert repairs preparing for the repaving of the existing trail next spring. Expanding the paved trail to Greenleaf is to be completed in 2025.
The FFRT has received donations from our friends, worked with Brown County and the State of Wisconsin to secure funding, but we still need your help to make this project possible. To be eligible for the dollar for dollar matching grant, up to $25,000, your donation must be received between now and GivingTuesday.
