Fox River State Trail Draft Study Reveal

Press release from our friends at Brown County Parks:

(Brown County, WI): Over the past year, Brown County Planning and Parks Department has been working to update the over 20-year-old Fox River State Trail Study. The updated Study is heavily reliant on public engagement and modern trail uses. Brown County Parks Director, Matt Kriese says, “The Fox River State Trail has existed in our community for over 24 years and this Study reaffirms the value and importance this specific trail plays in our community,” Kriese goes on to say, “The trail is one of the busiest in the state of Wisconsin and our Department saw the need to update the Study to make certain we are meeting the current needs of all users.”

The final draft of the Fox River State Trail Study will be revealed on Thursday, January 16, 2025, from 5:30-6:30 pm at the Brown County Kress Library lower-level meeting room (333 N Broadway, De Pere WI).
